Union Street’s 22nd Annual Spring Celebration & Easter Parade
Sunday, March 31 2013
10am – 5pm
Parade begins at 2pm

A family-friendly   gathering held in the heart of the picturesque city by the bay and inspires   throngs of people to pack the street from Gough to Fillmore each year. Dazzling   costumes, dizzying carnival rides, and bistro dining are all part of the fun.   Widely dubbed the biggest little parade in San Francisco, the event also features roller-blading cows, wind-powered   floats, and vintage automobiles.


30th Annual Chris Owens French Quarter Easter Parade

Chris Owens throws a lavish and formal Easter parade each year, complete with stunning costumes, breathtaking bonnets,   and ornate vintage buggies and cars providing the transportation. Whimsical   marching bands are also part of the fun as the parade winds through the historic French Quarter of New Orleans.   An elegant brunch heralds the beginning of the event and the atmosphere recalls   days of finery and a more genteel south.


Easter Surfing Festival, Cocoa Beach, Florida

For the adventurous Easter travelers the Easter Surfing Festival is the ideal celebration to attend. From April 6-8 there are surfing competitions for people of all ages. These competitions take place at Cocoa Beach Pier and Shepard Park. All winners of surfing competitions receive a trophy.


Biltmore Estate Easter Egg Hunt, Asheville, North Carolina

The Easter Rabbit makes his annual appearance on Biltmore’s Front Lawn on Easter Sunday, along with special children’s entertainment including magic shows, music, storytelling, crafts and photos with the Easter Rabbit. Highlighting the day are the grand Easter Egg Hunts at 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. Children ages 9 years old and younger may attend the hunt for free when accompanied by an estate pass holder or a ticketed adult. Day-of registration will be required. Bring your own basket or bag to collect eggs!


Easter Parade and Easter Bonnet Festival, New York, New York
10am – 4pm

New York City is filled with fun, family friendly Easter Celebrations. The Easter Parade and Easter Bonnet Festival takes place along Fifth Avenue between 49th and 57th Streets. This celebration is animal spot to enjoy some truly extravagant Easter Bonnets. Visitors to New York can celebrate Easter with New York City in their most fun and festive spring and Easter wear.
