About Atlas

Atlas MedStaff eliminates all worries for travel nurses and the hospitals that hire them. We’ve seen it all in the more than six decades of medical staffing experience that we bring to the table and we do it all as if you were a member of our family. It’s this unique blend of experience and care—the same level of care that you give to your patients—that makes Atlas one of the fastest growing medical staffing companies.

Our staffing team has experience to burn, working with the top facilities around the country. That experience gives us the resources and flexibility to offer contract/traveler opportunities in all nursing disciplines.

Our client managers know what hospitals need and toil endlessly to supply our client hospitals with the highest quality candidates. We make sure we comply with all of standards set by The Joint Commission, thus allowing you to feel confident in the staffing choices you made.

The Atlas MedStaff team prides itself on making every nurse traveler assignment a well-planned and highly supported assignment. Our recruiters stay connected with each traveling nurse throughout their assignments, because they understand that their job doesn’t end just because they matched you with the best available assignment for you. Let Atlas do the heavy lifting.

My Favorite Quote

My Hobbies:

“Never give up! Failure and rejection are only the first step to succeeding.” ~ Jim Valvano

When I’m not showing up to work with a smile on my face (because I’m usually a little buzzed), I love spending time with my wife (my high school sweet heart: Win!), my two boys (Jack, 8 and Sam, 5), and our chocolate lab named Sadie. During football season, you’ll find me at Cornhusker games on the 50 yard line (season tickets: Win!!!). I enjoy travel nurse recruiting because if I ever met any of you in person, I’d probably punch you in the throat. I’m playing. I wouldn’t have been at this for over eleven years if didn’t love finding great people great jobs. And, just in case anyone’s keeping score, I once won a free throw shooting contest. Let’s just say I’m addicted to winning!!! Maybe I should order one less shot of espresso next time.

The best advice I ever got was “Bet on number ten.” I won! I tried it several times after that and it didn’t work as well.

Golf, Dinner with Friends and Family, and Watching the Nebraska Cornhuskers down at Memorial Stadium.
