Our new 13-week assignment for a Registered Nurse (RN) at Rapid City Hospice and Home Health offers a meaningful opportunity to expand your skills and grow your career. In this challenging yet rewarding role, you’ll get to work 8-hour days in the stunning city of Rapid City, SD. You’ll be an integral part of our team in delivering quality home health and hospice care. The chosen candidate will mainly service the greater Rapid City area, though could also attend to patients in the Custer/Hill City and Hot Springs regions. Your caseload will roughly be 20-25 patients, indicating a carefully managed patient-to-nurse ratio. Successful candidates must have approximately 1.5 years’ experience and a variety of skills including Oasis, hospice philosophy, infection control practices, wound vacs, wound care, PICC line dressing changes, port access, and critical thinking abilities. You must have completed a board-approved nursing education program and possess a current RN license per the South Dakota Board of Nursing, as well as BLS certification. Candidates should also have a valid driver’s license and be comfortable driving at night. Our seamless rotation schedule means every third weekend is yours to rest or explore, and the potential for a twelve-hour call shift each week. Approval for time off can be requested in your contract, and holiday shifts will be finalized during your interview. Our operations run smoothly on the Epic Remote charting system and there’s ample free parking available at our facility. • $2,629.00 total gross weekly for 40 hours per week for 13 weeks.
• Stipends:$1,197.00 weekly

Taxable rates:

• Regular hours: $35.79
• Overtime hours: $77.07
