Get ready to embark on a thrilling 13-week assignment at the renowned Wilson Medical Center, an accredited Joint Commission Duke Lifepoint Hospital offering a variety of services including cancer care, cardiac care, orthopedics, imaging, and surgical services! This position is for an RN specializing in Med Surg at the 3rd & 5th Med Surg floors. Each unit consists of 22 beds and a patient ratio of 6:1 to 7:1. Enjoy the rhythmic balance of a 12 hour shift from 7 PM to 7 AM, guaranteeing 36 hours of weekly work, with every other weekend off. Please note, there is no call requirement for this position. Feel assured with modern equipment such as Telemetry at your disposal and the well-implemented EHR, MEDITECH. For those seeking a change of scenery, the hospital is only a 45-minute drive from Raleigh, a two-hour drive from the NC coast, and an hours journey to prestigious universities like Duke, NC State, UNC Chapel Hill, and East Carolina University. After a busy workday, relax at Lake Wilson, only a 15-minute drive from the facility. Note: Prospective candidates must have Meditech experience, more than two years of experience in their specialty, BLS NIH certification, an Associate’s RN Degree, and be able to float as the 2nd nurse on a Tele or ED shift when required. Candidates should be family-oriented, as per the facility’s preference. There is no restriction on the color of your scrubs! Relevant restrictions include the necessity for candidates to be 60 miles or further from the facility to be considered for travel. • Stipends:$1,162.00 weekly

Taxable rates:

• Regular hours: $25.16
• Gap hours: $57.44
