As part of the team, you will utilize your skills as a RN in Med-Surg on a unit separate from but adjacent to the Emergency Department. This job includes weekdays, and every other weekend, guaranteeing 36 hours a week . The need is to care for the Utilization unit for ED holds and Outpatient admits. This position requires team players with a positive attitude and at least 2 years of experience in a similar role with strong Meditech knowledge.

Wilson Medical Center is a Duke Lifepoint Hospital with 294 beds, offering a range of services from cancer to cardiac care. It’s Joint-Commission Accredited and only 45 miles east of Raleigh. For further recreation on your days off, it’s 2 hours from the North Carolina coast, 1 hour from top universities, and just a 15-minute drive to Lake Wilson. At Wilson, you will be part of a diverse patient population and work towards common diagnostics and treatments such as Respiratory Distress, Overdose, CHF, Dialysis, HTN.

Please note that successful candidates must be in possession of ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS certifications and an Associate’s degree in Nursing. While there are no specific color requirements for scrubs, they must be professional in appearance. Lastly, applicants must reside over 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for the role. • $2,068.00 total gross weekly for 36 hours per week for 13 weeks.
• Stipends:$1,162.00 weekly

Taxable rates:

• Regular hours: $25.16
• Gap hours: $57.44
• Overtime hours: $61.22
