I have been travel nursing for just over a year now. I first spoke with my Triage recruiter, Amanda Trader when I was initially looking into travel nursing. I ended up taking a contract with a different agency due to being told they exclusively held the contract I was interested in. After signing the contract, I never heard from the recruiter again. During my first assignment, it was Amanda who called or texted words of encouragement periodically. Although I was not traveling with Triage at the time, she became a friend to me and when I started looking for my next contract, of course, I reached out to Amanda! The rest is history. I have been more than happy with Amanda and Triage. Onboarding was easy, credentialing has been easy to keep up with the Kamana app. The pay packages have been very good. I work hard and appreciate the honesty, fairness and kindness of Amanda and the Triage Team. Five Star Review from me!

I used Triage Staffing Agency for my assignment in Alaska. My recruiter was Patrick Exner. The process was a smooth as it could be. The agency and Patrick made the transition process easy. I really enjoyed my assignment. Everyone needs to go to Alaska. No complaints with Triage. Everything went great.

They Embody the Bait-and-SwitchBe very cautious if you work with this agency, they cannot be trusted. I accepted what was supposed to be a very lucrative 4 week contract with this agency. The first red flag was when I read their contract which clearly states that they can change anything in the contract (including your pay) at any time for any reason.Once I signed against my better judgement it took then a week to process my compliance despite me uploading all of the documentation needed. I was just waiting for the slip to get drug tested. They then covered for their incompetence by taking advantage of the “we can change whatever we want whenever we want to” clause to move my start date back 4 days. Then, after I already started working the contract, they moved my end date up 5 days. That’s right, my 4 weeks of high pay with guaranteed hours in the contract turned into 2 weeks after I had already secured housing.

I was first seeking a travel nursing position about a year ago. After submitting my information to a half dozen agencies, I received a phone call from Devon Howe. We hit it off right away and talked about much more than just travel nursing. Devon was a great recruiter, smart and hardworking, but more importantly I could tell he was authentic in his intentions. I had less than two years as a RN at the time, however, I was coming from a Trauma 1 CVICU with exposure to anything you can think of in the cardiac world. Most hospitals won’t hire or even consider a RN with less than two years, but Devon was able to present a strong case and get me into a travel job with 1.5 years of nursing experience. The rest is history. I’m in my second assignment, making more money than I ever dreamed as a nurse, and am able to provide for my entire family. Triage Staffing has changed my life and opened the door to so many opportunities and new experiences. I’m very grateful for them and all they do. I would 10/10 recommend!
