About Travel Nurse 101 and Brandy
Do you want to take your nursing career to the next level but don’t know where to start? Life is too short to be exhausted, underpaid, or stuck. Travel nursing gives you the freedom and flexibility to follow your passion for nursing while you travel, learn, and have epic adventures. You can explore with a goal!
I’m Brandy. Your mentor and fellow travel nurse, I have over 18 years of experience in a variety of nursing settings, including flight nursing, critical care float pool, neonatal and pediatric intensive care units, and travel nursing. I’ve had adventures in Florida, Colorado, Nevada, South Carolina, Texas, and Montana since I decided to work as a travel nurse. I love to travel, hike, and spend time in the great outdoors. I chose to become a travel nurse for a reason. I needed to rekindle my passion for nursing because my staff position was exhausting. In the wake of finding an extraordinary organization and a reliable selection representative, I left on my most memorable task solo with my two puppies close by and never thought back! It was the best thing I could have done for myself to become a travel nurse! I am thankful that I chose to become a travel nurse, but I also know that getting started requires a lot of planning. That is the reason I’m here! When you feel overwhelmed, I’m here to be your movement nurture guide – to collaborate with you, hold your hand, and give you the certainty you want for an effective excursion. I’ll tell you everything there is to know about travel nursing instead of making you learn the hard way, so you can be ready to start this exciting and rewarding career! I am thrilled to serve as a mentor to the community of future travel nurses because I am all about working smarter rather than harder.
