Job Title: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our team as a traveler. This role involves providing anesthesia care across various healthcare facilities, including hospitals, surgical centers, and specialty clinics in different locations. As a Travel CRNA, you will be responsible for preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative anesthesia care to ensure optimal patient comfort and safety.
Key Responsibilities
Anesthesia Administration: Deliver anesthesia care to patients of all ages in various settings, including operating rooms, outpatient clinics, and emergency situations.
Preoperative Assessment: Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including medical history and physical examination, to determine appropriate anesthesia care plans.
Anesthesia Monitoring: Monitor patients’ vital signs, such as heart rate, blood pressure, oxygen levels, and other indicators, adjusting anesthesia levels as necessary.
Patient Safety and Comfort: Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout procedures by administering anesthesia accurately and effectively, closely monitoring responses, and addressing complications.
Postoperative Care: Provide post-anesthesia care and pain management, assessing recovery and collaborating with the healthcare team to address patient needs.
Documentation: Maintain accurate, detailed documentation of anesthesia care provided, including preoperative assessments, intraoperative monitoring, and postoperative follow-up.
Collaboration: Work closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide seamless and coordinated patient care.
Qualifications
Licensure: Active CRNA certification and valid licensure in the state of practice; willing to obtain additional licensure if needed for travel assignments.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of CRNA experience in diverse clinical settings; experience with both general and regional anesthesia preferred.
Flexibility: Willingness to travel to various locations and work in different healthcare environments.
Skills: Exceptional critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances and environments.
