Job Details

• Location: Baltimore, MD
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date Options: 12/2/2024 or 12/16/2024
• Hours per Week: 40 hours
• Shift: 10-hour days
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2260 – $2430

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in CVOR nursing
• Experience with Cerner electronic charting system
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Must have experience in scrub and circulate roles for cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgery cases
• Previous travel nursing assignment experience required
• Valid nursing license for the state of Maryland or compact license
• Flu vaccine required

Responsibilities

• Perform scrub and circulate duties for cardiovascular surgeries, including coronary artery bypass grafts, mitral valve replacements, and open-heart surgeries
• Manage and coordinate patient care in the CVOR setting
• Participate in on-call rotations, including 2 Friday night, 2 Saturday, and 2 Sunday 24-hour shifts, plus 4 weekday calls from 1630-0700 in a 6-week schedule
• Ensure compliance with all facility policies and procedures, including those related to infection control and patient safety
• Float within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity as required
