Position Overview

TLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Echo Tech for travel assignments in various healthcare settings. The ideal candidate will perform echocardiographic procedures to assess cardiac function and detect heart abnormalities. This role involves working closely with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate diagnostic images.

Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiograms, Doppler studies, and other cardiac ultrasound procedures.
• Assess heart function, valve abnormalities, and blood flow using ultrasound technology.
• Collaborate with cardiologists to review and analyze imaging results.
• Maintain and operate ultrasound equipment, ensuring optimal image quality.
• Document patient data and findings accurately in electronic medical records.
• Provide patient education and ensure comfort during procedures.
• Follow infection control and safety protocols.
• Travel to assigned healthcare facilities as needed.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field.
• Certification: Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) required.
• Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in echocardiography preferred.
• Skills: Proficiency in echocardiography techniques, strong attention to detail, excellent patient care skills.
• Travel Readiness: Willingness to accept travel assignments and relocate as needed.
