Facility Details:
– COVID Vaccine Required- Plus Booster
– Must be highly reliable and be available to work all days other than those that were pre-disclosed prior to offer.
– Must not have alternative jobs that would interfere with HMH schedule being a priority.
– Local candidates not eligible. Candidate address must be a minimum of 75 miles from facility they are applying
– Manager will be interviewing via phone.
– Please limit RTO and do not request more than 3 days consecutive PTO.
– Block schedule ok
Orientation:
– 48hrs
– Orientation every Tuesday
Unit Details:
– BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, ENPC, TNCC required. CPI or some other form of crisis prevention or de-escalation training is preferred.
– Preferred: Previous travel experience, PALS certification, Previous experience working in an inner-city hospital.
– BSN preferred
– 2 years previous experience
– neuro experience preferred
– previous travel experience required
– Team/Patient First attitude required
– Level 1 Trauma Center, Level 2 Peds
– Emergency Department sees 200-300 patients per day. Patient population is all ages, but pediatrics is rare. High population of psych and critical patients. Only outsource burns and pediatrics. There are techs in the ED but due to staffing shortages they are not always readily available in every area.
– Shift: 1900-0730, every other weekend, no on call
– Schedule is created in six-week blocks and posted two weeks in advance.
