- Time off request much be included at submit. Client won’t allow changes after the candidate has been presented. Holiday RTO will not be approved so client has asked that we don't submit if the nurse has any holiday time off request.
- Experience on the resume must show 2 recent years within the specialty.

- Effective 01/11/2024, AMC will not accept applicants who reside in the following ineligible counties: Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, and Washington.
- If candidate has worked as a perm employee at any of the below facilities within the last 12 months they can't be submitted for consideration: Albany, Glen Falls, Saratoga Hospital and Columbia Memorial
- As of 6/23/23 Albany Medical Center encourages the COVID Vaccine Card although no longer requires it.
- Modules required prior to starting. Client will email them directly to the nurse once they're fully compliant. Modules will be unpaid. Approximate time is 3 Hours.
- Please do not submit your candidate unless they’re 100% onboard with accepting the offer if given. The client is very sensitive to drops and we need to prevent any drops.
- HealthTrust Travel nurses are required to float when requested and as needed. There is no set frequency.
- A competency test will be sent directly to the candidate from HealthTrust via a new platform called HSH (Healthcare Staffing Hire) after submission before deciding on an offer. Candidate needs to complete this exam the day it is issued. ???????
Position Details:
- Certs: BLS, ACLS Required. NIHSS Preferred
- 1-2 years experience in the care of trauma, surgical and neurological ICU patients.
- Advanced skills needed: comprehensive advanced neurological assessments, NIHSS stroke assessments, hemodynamic monitoring of critically ill patient, ventilator management.
- Procedures performed on unit: Placement of arterial line, central line, external ventricular drain, ICP monitor, SEPS drain. Bedside bronchoscopy, abdominal washout, tracheostomy, percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy tube placement, lumbar punctures, chest tubes, pigtail drains
