We are hiring for a full time position with one of our most valued clients in the San Diego area! This is a highly reputable, well-established client. Ideal candidates are local, have an active California LVN certification, and a minimum of 6 months of recent experience as an LVN. If you are comfortable working in a home-health position and driving a company vehicle, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

Pay Rates:
$1,440 – $1,520 / Weekly Gross
$36 – $38 / Hourly
40 hours / Week

MORE ABOUT THE LVN POSITION:

1. Ability to work with other personnel and develop/maintain good relations
2. Demonstrate thorough knowledge of nursing care and current clinical practice, treatments and interventions, specific to position specialty.
3. Ability to understand and monitor applicable regulations, policies and procedures.
4. Promote patient’s independence by establishing patient care goals.
5. Resolve patient problems and needs by utilizing multidisciplinary team strategies.
6. Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with rules and regulations.
7. Ability to make independent decisions, follow instructions, and to accept constructive criticism.
8. Ability to deal tactfully with residents, students, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public, according to position setting.
9. Ability to maintain the care and use of supplies, equipment, etc.
10. Maintain patient confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential.
11. Demonstrate proficiency in written/verbal skills in English language
12. Sufficient computer skills required to perform duties.

JOB REQUIREMENTS FOR THE LVN:

1. LVN License
2. Phlebotomy experience required
3. Excellent verbal communication skills
4. BLS with American Heart Association
5. Valid CA Driver’s License and acceptable driving record
6. Patient bedside experience preferred (preferred but not required)
7. Ability to lift 50 – 60 lbs
8. Spanish speaking (preferred but not required)
9. Must be comfortable driving and making home health visits independently
