Modules required prior to starting. Client will email them directly to the nurse once they're fully compliant. Modules will be unpaid. Approximate time is 3 Hours.

Please do not submit your candidate unless they’re 100% onboard with accepting the offer if given. The client is very sensitive to drops and we need to prevent any drops.

HealthTrust Travel nurses are required to float when requested and as needed. There is no set frequency.

Competency Testing: Required for Med/surg applicants who’s experience is less than 2 years. This will be assigned to the candidate to complete once the candidate has been submitted.

Unit staffing description- RN’s, PCA’s, ASA’s, NP’s, Nurse clinicians

Type of equipment: wound vacs, traction, iV pumps, NG, trach collars, feeding pumps, suction, medical air, O2, mini infusers, PCA pumps

Documentation system: Epic, MAK (medications), HEV (bed mgmt.), Pyxis, Vocera

Floating policy: to areas with competency. AMC has an internal float team that assists in filling holes

Patient Experience requirements: Post surgical Med/ Surg

Patient Population: Post-surgical setting caring for patients that have undergone ENT, thoracic, neurosurgery, orthopedics, GYN, GYN oncology, urology, and general surgery. These are patients that are here for 23 hours and then discharged home or to a facility as needed.
