JOB REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION:

  1. 1 – 2 years working as an MA in an outpatient clinic or medical office setting (Mutliple positions, experience required will vary by facility)
  2. Medical Assistant Certificate/Diploma from a DAPIP accredited program OR national certification (AAMA, AMCA, AMT, CCBMA, MMCI).
  3. CPR/BLS through the AHA
  4. Demonstrated ability to prepare patients for examination by performing preliminary physical tests, taking blood pressure, weight, and temperature, and reporting patient history summaries
  5. Proficiency with blood/lab draws and venipuncture
  6. Medical Assistant Certificate/Diploma from a DAPIP accredited program OR national certification through AAMA, AMCA, AMT, CCBMA, or MMCI.
  7. Demonstrated ability to prepare patients for examination by performing preliminary physical tests, taking blood pressure, weight, and temperature, and reporting patient history summaries
