Position Overview

TLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) for travel assignments in various healthcare settings. The NMT is responsible for administering radiopharmaceuticals and operating imaging equipment to capture functional images of organs and tissues. This role requires technical expertise, attention to radiation safety, and strong patient care skills to assist physicians in accurate diagnoses.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals for imaging procedures.
• Operate gamma cameras, PET, and SPECT scanners to obtain diagnostic images.
• Ensure compliance with radiation safety and infection control protocols.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions during procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of radioactive materials and patient imaging data.
• Work closely with radiologists and physicians for accurate image interpretation.
• Travel to various hospitals and healthcare facilities for temporary assignments.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or related field.
• Certification: NMTCB or ARRT (N) certification required.
• Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience in nuclear medicine imaging.
• Skills: Strong knowledge of radiopharmaceuticals, imaging protocols, and radiation safety.
• Travel Readiness: Willingness to take on travel assignments.
