Physical Therapist (PT) – Traveler Job Description\n\nOverview:\nWe are seeking a dedicated and experienced Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team as a traveler, delivering exceptional rehabilitation services across various healthcare facilities. In this role, you will assess, plan, and implement individualized treatment programs to help patients recover from injuries, manage pain, and improve their overall physical function. This position requires strong clinical skills, adaptability, and a commitment to enhancing patient outcomes in diverse environments.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nPatient Assessment: Conduct thorough evaluations of patients’ physical abilities, mobility, and functional limitations to develop personalized treatment plans tailored to their needs and goals.\nTherapeutic Interventions: Implement evidence-based physical therapy interventions, including exercises, manual therapy, modalities, and functional training to improve patients’ strength, mobility, and overall physical function.\nPatient Education: Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, exercises, and strategies for home care to facilitate recovery and prevent re-injury.\nProgress Monitoring: Document patient progress, treatment outcomes, and modifications to therapy plans in compliance with healthcare regulations and facility policies.\nCollaboration: Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and other therapists, to coordinate patient care and optimize therapeutic outcomes.\nAdaptability: Adjust to various facility protocols, treatment modalities, and patient populations while providing consistent, high-quality care.\nSkills & Qualifications:\n\nStrong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills to develop and modify treatment plans based on patient progress and needs.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction and teamwork.\nKnowledge of current physical therapy practices, evidence-based interventions, and regulatory standards.\nAbility to adapt to new environments and work efficiently in diverse clinical settings.\nEducation & Experience:\n\nDoctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.\nCurrent licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of practice; eligibility to work in multiple states preferred.\nMinimum of 1-2 years of experience in a clinical setting, with experience in diverse patient populations preferred.\nWillingness to travel and work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed
