Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Medical Director (MD/DO) to lead our healthcare team and oversee clinical operations. Key Responsibilities
Leadership: Provide clinical leadership and direction to medical staff, fostering a collaborative and patient-centered environment.
Clinical Oversight: Oversee the quality and effectiveness of clinical care provided within the facility, ensuring adherence to best practices and evidence-based guidelines.
Policy Development: Develop, implement, and evaluate clinical policies and procedures to enhance patient safety and quality of care.
Staff Development: Mentor and support healthcare providers, facilitating ongoing education and professional development to improve clinical competencies.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, as well as accreditation standards, to maintain high-quality care and patient safety.
Quality Improvement: Lead quality improvement initiatives and performance improvement projects, utilizing data to drive enhancements in clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction.
Collaboration: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive care plans and improve the overall patient experience.
Qualifications
Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
Licensure: Current and unrestricted medical license; board certification in a relevant specialty is preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or administrative role in a healthcare setting.
Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage teams and drive organizational change.
Analytical Abilities: Proficient in data analysis and quality improvement methodologies to enhance clinical practices.
