Job Description: Cath Lab Tech

Position Overview

TLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is seeking an experienced Cath Lab Tech for travel assignments in various healthcare facilities. The Cath Lab Tech will assist in cardiac catheterization procedures, angioplasties, and other interventional procedures to diagnose and treat heart conditions. This role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work in high-pressure environments alongside physicians and healthcare teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist in cardiac catheterization, angioplasties, and electrophysiology procedures.
• Operate and maintain imaging and hemodynamic monitoring equipment.
• Prepare patients for cardiac and vascular interventional procedures.
• Monitor vital signs and report abnormalities to the medical team.
• Ensure sterile field and adherence to infection control protocols.
• Document procedures, patient responses, and imaging data accurately.
• Collaborate with cardiologists, nurses, and radiology staff.
• Travel to various healthcare facilities for temporary assignments as needed.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology, Cardiovascular Technology, or related field.
• Certification: ARRT (R) or RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) preferred.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years in a cardiac cath lab setting.
• Skills: Proficiency in fluoroscopy, hemodynamic monitoring, and catheter-based interventions.
• Travel Readiness: Willingness to take on travel assignments.
