Position Overview

TLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for travel assignments in various healthcare facilities. The MRI Tech will be responsible for performing high-quality magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans, ensuring patient safety, image accuracy, and compliance with regulatory standards. This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and excellent patient care skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
• Ensure patient safety, including screening for contraindications (e.g., metal implants, pacemakers).
• Position patients properly for optimal image clarity.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams to review scans.
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols and HIPAA regulations.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and report malfunctions.
• Travel to various healthcare facilities for temporary assignments as needed.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or MRI Technology.
• Certification: ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification required.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of MRI experience preferred.
• Skills: Strong knowledge of MRI physics, anatomy, and safety protocols.
• Travel Readiness: Willingness to take on travel assignments.
