We have an exciting opportunity for a Physical Therapist (PT) to join the rehabilitation team at McLaren Thumb Region located in the beautiful city of Bad Axe, MI. This is an Inpatient role which offers a full-time schedule, and a total of 40 weekly hours. The shifts typically run from 8 or 9am to 5:30pm, including some on-call days, weekends, and holidays.

As part of your role, you will work on reducing pain and restoring function and independence for patients who have undergone various physical challenges. You’ll utilize a multidisciplinary approach, combining exercise and strength training with manual therapy. This is alongside modalities to develop an individualized treatment plan for each of your unique patients. Together with the patient, you will work one-on-one on a specific care plan designed to expedite their safe return to normal daily activities and work.

For this role, a minimum of 1 Year of Inpatient PT experience is required, and Orthopedic as well as Travel Experience is highly preferred. Applicants must be a graduate of an accredited PTA institution and possess a valid MI PT License. Please note that full-time employees of McLaren are not eligible for contract hire within six months of employment.

• $1,994.00 total gross weekly for 40 hours per week for 13 weeks.
• Stipends:$1,162.00 weekly

Taxable rates:

• Regular hours: $20.79
• Overtime hours: $67.20
