Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment at the UW Health University Hospital, the #1 hospital in Wisconsin! We are currently seeking an experienced RN to join our GI/Bronchoscopy Procedures team for a 13-week travel assignment. You will have the unique opportunity to provide care to patients undergoing both inpatient and outpatient surgical procedures. Our RN’s work 40 hours a week, typically Monday – Friday with rotating start times between 0630-0900 and on-call requirements one weekday and every 4-5 weekends.
Minimum requirements for interested candidates: must have recent experience recovering sedated patients following GI and pulmonary procedures such as ERCP, EUS, EGD, Colonoscopy, endoscopy/Bronchoscopy. Experience in Moderated Sedation and Pre/Post all levels of care including PACU/Phase I and II recovery and Basic Arrhythmia experience are also necessary. Candidates must have a minimum of two years experience within the last 3 years, preferably in an Academic Level 1 – Trauma center or similar size hospital. BLS and ACLS certification through the American Heart Association is a must.
