Embark on an exciting 13-week travel healthcare assignment as a Registered Nurse in the ER at the University of New Mexico Hospital in Albuquerque, NM. This Level I Trauma, Teaching Hospital, and Children’s Hospital offer enriching experiences with a hardworking team where you’ll feel the heartwarming fulfillment of providing quality care. Your shift will be 4 nights per week, 12-hour sessions from 19:00 – 07:30. The hospital is actively admitting 60%-80% of the Emergency Department, providing ample opportunity to enhance your skills. With an emergency department ratio of 1:5 and a 2-year experience requirement (1.5 years may also be considered), this position offers a conducive working and learning environment. The hospital is also flexible to both 36-hour and 48-hour shifts. Responsible and caring Registered Nurses like you with a valid NM license and willing to travel (no locals within 75 miles) are welcome. Certifications in ACLS, BLS, NIH, PALS, and TNCC are essential before submission. COVID-19 vaccination is mandated although religious and medical exemptions are acknowledged. Weekends constitute Saturday, Sunday, and Friday nights; travelers may be scheduled for weekends as required. While on-call is not required, there’s an expectancy based on staffing needs that clinicians might float to Adult PCUs as needed, with optional floating to Peds ED and potential floating to ED Holding and Trauma DOE. • $2,265.00 total gross weekly for 36 hours per week for 13 weeks.
• Stipends:$1,440.38 weekly

Taxable rates:

• Regular hours: $22.92
• Gap hours: $62.93
• Overtime hours: $95.62
