Exciting opportunity for a skilled Registered Nurse in the Medical Surgical department at the esteemed University of Tennessee Medical Center, located in the vibrant city of Knoxville! This is a 13-week commitment, offering 36 hours per week, predominantly on night shifts (18:45-07:15). The facility provides a dynamic work environment where patient populations may vary and floating across different units based on the hospital’s needs is a possibility. If you’re an adaptable team-player seeking a change in pace, this could be your perfect fit!

Experience: A minimum of 2 years in a similar role is required, whereas familiarity with Cerner systems or experience working in a similarly large, high-acuity facility would be considered an asset. Certification: BLS, ACLS are a necessity. Local applicants are highly encouraged to apply. However, please note that pending license applications cannot be accepted.

The facility is happy to consider block scheduling depending upon our unit’s needs. Every other weekend work is expected, as is some holiday work if contracted during holiday seasons. Please note, our healthcare professionals are required to wear Royal Blue scrubs. The facility observes the following holidays: New Year’s, Labor, Independence, Memorial, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.

• $2,082.00 total gross weekly for 36 hours per week for 13 weeks.
• Stipends:$1,239.00 weekly

Taxable rates:

• Regular hours: $23.41
• Gap hours: $57.83
• Overtime hours: $74.06
