Embark on a thrilling 13-week travel healthcare assignment as an RN – Med Surg at the Danville Regional Medical Center situated in the charming city of Danville, VA. There’s no better way to experience the small-town charm of Danville than by working at its 250-bed Academic Community Hospital, the Region’s only designated Chest Pain Center and Certified Advanced Primary Stroke Center, offering comprehensive surgical services, 24-hour ED services, a home health & hospice agency, an advanced wound healing center, a cardiac rehabilitation center, 2 cath labs, a one-day surgery center, and medical and radiation oncology. The work shift begins at 7:00 PM and ends at 7:00 AM, ensuring you ample time to explore the city’s offerings, relax by the beautiful banks of the Dan River, or hike across its 680 acres of parks and trails. This opportunity requires a high school diploma or equivalent, and enrollment in a nursing school program. Nursing students entering their last semester of nursing school may be hired as a Professional Nursing Assistant Intern. The role requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a stressful environment. Being flexible in scheduling – including weekends and holidays – to ensure continuity of care and nursing coverage to the patients is also required. Preferred IPR certification is a plus, while candidates must be 60 miles or great away for travel considerations.
Experience:
