Get excited about an adventurous 13-week travel healthcare assignment as a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse, located in the vibrant city of Rapid City, SD. The position requires you to work 12-hour night shifts, for a total of approximately 48 hours each week, at the esteemed Rapid City Hospital. This is a Float Pool position, allowing you the dynamic opportunity to work with a diverse patient population across various units throughout the hospital, including Orthopedics, Neuro, Surgical, Medical, Intermediate Care, Oncology, and Heart and Vascular. Typical patient ratios average around 1:4-5, with solid support systems available 24/7 like Hospitalist and Phlebotomy services, and a dedicated Charge Nurse for each unit. Primarily, you’ll work with a range of common diagnoses, such as Stroke, Urinary Tract Infection, Sepsis, Heart Failure, and many more – keeping your skill set sharp and extensive. Required Certifications embrace RN, BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS, with a BSN also mandatory. A strong foundation in general nursing with minimum 1.5 years of experience is necessary, as well as the titration experience of a variety of drips, and expertise in procedures like IV starts and cardiac rhythm interpretation. • Stipends:$1,197.00 weekly

Taxable rates:
