Join us in Augusta, GA for an exciting Registered Nurse – PCU, 14-week travel assignment at Piedmont Augusta Hospital. The assignment requires a minimum experience of 1 year, and newcomers are also welcome to apply. Patient population ranges from adolescents to geriatrics. Required Certifications include BLS, ACLS, NIH. The facility involves a variety of general skills and work setting requirements including mixed MS/Tele and Intermediate patients, and even neuro (small population), respiratory, cardiac, mixed medical, titrating cardiac drips and tele. The assignments could vary from all PCU, all MS/Tele, or a mix of both depending on the acuity of the patients and staffing. The nurse to patient ratio varies from 1:4-5. Familiarity with Epic, Pyxis, SBAR systems is vital. You are expected to look presentable in Navy Blue Scrubs, and also required to float within the facility without any block scheduling. All major holidays, if occurring during your assignment period, might be work days, while every other weekend is a guaranteed off.
