Exciting new opportunity for a Registered Nurse – PCU to embark on a 13-week travel healthcare assignment at Rapid City Hospital in Rapid City, SD. Here, you will have the unique opportunity of working 12-hour days on a mixed acuity unit, where you’ll hone your skills across a diverse range of patient conditions including urology, ortho, neuro/spine, and general medical issues. With an RN to PCU patient ratio of 1:4, you will receive ample support from our staff, including two dedicated charge nurses, and a flex nurse scheduled daily between 10 AM and 10 PM. New to travel nursing? No problem! We accept first-time travelers if they have greater than 1 year of nursing experience and previous experience with our EPIC charting system. Please remember that you must live over 100 miles away from any Monument Health facility and have key certifications such as BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS. Be prepared for a flexible schedule with a weekend rotation; you could be scheduled for up to 4 out of the 6 weekends, including Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Please note that we have a blackout period from August 1-18 each year due to our Sturgis Motorcycle Rally and no time off is approved during this time. Free parking available. • $2,849.00 total gross weekly for 48 hours per week for 13 weeks.
• Stipends:$1,197.00 weekly

Taxable rates:

• Regular hours: $31.77
• Overtime hours: $47.65
