Embark on an exciting 13-week travel healthcare assignment as a Registered Nurse (RN) with a Cardiac Step-Down specialty at the MUSC Health Columbia Medical Center Downtown, located in the vibrant city of Columbia, SC. This is a night shift position, requiring the nurse to work three 12-hour shifts (from 19:00 to 07:00), including weekends and holidays as needed. The selected candidate will need telemetry and IV start skills. The nurse to patient ratio is usually 1:5 but may increase to 1:6 during peak staffing needs. Travelers for this assignment may be required to float between Downtown and Northeast campuses as required by facility needs. We stress the fact that two years of experience are necessary, and professional certifications, including BLS and ACLS from the American Heart Association (AHA), are a requirement for consideration. We are open to creating a block schedule, depending on unit’s needs and manager’s approval. Locals who live within a radius of 60 miles may apply, but their applications will be considered on a case by case basis. The hospital provides parking at no cost. However, the clearance for garages only accommodates average SUVs or trucks. The scrubs’ color for RNs is either Royal Blue or Black and they can be combined with White. • $2,000.00 total gross weekly for 36 hours per week for 13 weeks.
• Stipends:$1,232.00 weekly

Taxable rates:

• Regular hours: $21.34
• Gap hours: $55.56
• Overtime hours: $70.87
